Center Parcs UK & Ireland has brought in Hannah Bateman as corporate communications manager. She has replaced Lizzie Godbehere, who has been promoted to senior corporate communications manager.

Bateman started her new role last week and reports to Simon Kay, head of corporate communications and PR.

She has joined Center Parcs from stone and porcelain tile company Quorn Stone, where she was PR manager. Prior to that Bateman was a PR executive at software firm The Access Group.

In her new role, she will “play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Center Parcs’ corporate narrative” according to the job description. “Working closely with the Head of Corporate Communications and PR, senior stakeholders, and our external PR agency, you will lead the development and execution of strategic communications plans that support the company’s reputation, ESG commitments and business objectives,” it adds.

Bateman told In.Comms: “The initial focus for the role is to deepen the business’ storytelling around ESG.”

She described Center Parcs as “a brand that truly stands apart” and said: “Having grown up visiting with my family, I already felt a personal connection and the role offered an exciting opportunity to grow professionally within communications.”

Bateman added: “I’m looking forward to sharing the stories that show why Center Parcs really is a place like no other.”
